SWEET 1st GRADE DEBUT BY BEN
The Gold Coast Bulletin missed a perfect opportunity for a classic play on words when our own Benny Sweeting knocked the heart and soul out of Surfers Paradise on the first day of their two day match by taking 5/23 on debut and tumbling the boys from the big smoke out for just 66.  In what was clearly our best days cricket of the season so far we went on to reach 7/140 by the close of play putting first innings points to bed already.  We'll push hard for outright points next week.  Well played Ben.

SENSATIONAL 97 BY AJ
And I can't not mention what must have been a sensational innings by our new member AJ who smashed 97 off just 28 deliveries helping 4th grade march on to their 3rd win for the season and 2nd on the trot.  Backing up his 59 on debut the week before AJ has added a belief to the 4th grade team that anything is possible.  Welcome to the club AJ.  Keep giving it to 'em!

SENIOR CLUB ROMP TO VICTORY
Congratulations to everyone involved during last weekend\'s round of senior matches that saw the mighty HAWKS clean sweep their opposition is all grades.  2nd grades\' 210 (Glassy 122) was too many for Tambo\'s 192 (Benny Sweeting 4/26, Matt Robbo 3/26). 3rd grade\'s 254 (Apples 77) thrashed Alberton\'s 130 (Sexpo 5/33, Apples 3/23), 4th grade\'s 163 (Anand Jayaraman 59) was too good for Palm Beach\'s 123 (Vanders 4/24 and Benny Haaack 2/9) and sadly 1st grade were denied giving it to Alberton by a wash out in their one-dayer. Gareth\'s U/15\'s also had a good win.
WELL DONE TO ALL - LET\'S DO IT ALL AGAIN THIS WEEK!
